Dallas City Councilmember Jesse Moreno, representatives from Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett and State Representative Rafael Anchia’s offices, and former Dallas City Councilmember Adam Medrano will be on hand to unveil the Official Texas Historical Marker for the Elm Thicket/Northpark neighborhood.

About the event

Dallas City Councilmember Jesse Moreno, representatives from Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett and State Representative Rafael Anchia’s offices, and former Dallas City Councilmember Adam Medrano will be on hand to unveil the Official Texas Historical Marker for the Elm Thicket/Northpark neighborhood, a former Freedman’s Town. The dedication ceremony will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 15 at the KB Polk Recreation Center, 6801 Roper Street in Dallas.
